I'm an accountant that grew up in southwestern Colorado, when in college I came to the realization that if you live a long way from home, you never get to travel because you head home for all your vacations. 

 

Since I love to travel, I took a job in northwestern New Mexico, and therefore I live in another state, but only about 90 miles from the farm I enjoyed as a child. 

 

I purchased a cabin close to where I grew up and started quilting as a hobby.  I have many interests including, scrapbooking, reading, cooking, woodworking, genealogy, and especially quilting.  I love going to retreats so I decided to start hosting them.

 

 My dad's name was Glen and he always wanted a cabin

 where he could "get away."  The cabin is situated among the tall Pondorosa pines and a beautiful setting.  Unfortunately my dad passed away in 1982, but Glenhaven is named in his honor. 

 

I've spent years building on, expanding etc, until I have a fabulous setting to come play.  Now that I'm semi-retired, I'm inviting you to come share my interests, whether it's quilting, scrapbooking, cooking, genealogy or even a reading getaway...Glenhaven is the place to be.
